Meet the Founder
Lauren Brechner
Founder & Principal Learning Consultant
Lauren spent seven years inside the association world across membership, marketing, and digital experience before spending six years at McKinsey & Company building the eLearning courses that served their clients. Every client-facing course McKinsey delivered ran through her team, and she left as the manager overseeing an international team building and producing eLearning at a massive scale.
Along the way, she kept seeing the same breakdown: problems diagnosed without a real solution attached, or learning products launched without a clearly defined goal behind them. Not because the people involved weren’t capable, but because the conversations were disjointed. Strategy happened in one room, execution in another, and no one was holding the thread between them.
Ember Forge exists to hold that thread. Lauren founded it to make sure the right problem gets defined, the right solution gets built, and the feedback loops stay open after launch — so the work keeps serving its actual purpose long after go-live.
